A quick reminder to those of you who noted on your Connection cards over the past several weeks that you'll be inviting someone to worship on Easter day--Who have you invited?  I've invited three folks so far.  Last evening I read Robert Coleman's book, "Nothing to Do But Save Souls" John Wesley's Charge to HIs Preachers.  What a vivid reminder that when everything is said and done in our lives, the one matter that matters is Jesus and knowing Him as our Savior and Lord!

When I read of Wesley's commitment to spreading the Good News of Jesus throughout America, and the number of pastors he trained and sent out, it seems incredible that so much could have been accomplished in one lifetime.  The key word in the last sentence is commitment.  We become what we're committed to in life, and Wesley became a committed follower of Jesus who was committed to offering the same blessing He had received to others.  That's the joy of inviting someone to worship with us at New Life this Sunday.  Those who say, "Yes," and join us, may also say, "Yes, " to Jesus and join the millions who have done so down through the centuries and come to know the life that is truly life--now and for eternity! 

I pray that each of us will continue to pray for our family members, friends, and others we know who don't know Jesus. I pray God will touch their hearts and draw them to Himself in this Easter season.  For those in that group who live nearby, let's invite them to worship with us, and celebrate our Savior's victory over sin and death with them!  We serve a RISEN Lord, and that is news worth sharing!
