I have a friend who is a wonderful gardener. She plants, waters, weeds and tends her garden into a wonderful maze of vibrant colors of flowers and delicious produce. As I watch her, I notice that as she plants the good seeds or seedlings into the well-prepared soil, she would say “Thank You God for doing Your work.” She explained that she did her part, but it was up to God to provide the sun and rain for the flowers and vegetables to grow. That’s true of our lives as well. We need to be seeking the Lord each day in order to sow right actions and attitudes in our lives so that God can do His work through us as we grow in His way. When we depend on Him, we will become fruitful. Thank You God for doing Your work through me … through us! |
